With the OAT procedure shoulder ranges of motion are restorded rapidly with full range of motion accomplished within weeks. Most treatment programs using physical therapy and exercises for FS cause the patient a significant loss of time from their work or leisure schedule with treatments usually being required at least 3 times per week for months and years. Even with these standard lengthy treatments patients will often still continue to be less mobile in their affected shoulder than in the unaffected one.
